How much will it cost to run Sound and Lights for our show?

Well that depends on a lot of variables; Here is a few general questions that we ask before we send you a quote.

Where is the venue?

How big is the venue?

How many bands will there be at this show?

How many people are expected to be there?

For promoters; How much is budgeted for this particular show?

Are you looking for just sound? How about Lighting?

Would you like your show Recorded? Are we mastering the recording or giving you raw tracks?

The Professional Sound providers use these common guidelines for determining fees and providing quotes. Below you will find an example breakdown of the charges used to provide those quotes:

Equipment: Charges vary from 1% to 3% of equipment cost that is at the event, this also includes cross renting of equipment from other companies.
Hourly Rate: Can be from $20/hour to $80/hour, this depends on the number of staff. The clock can start at departure time from the leave of the shop. You can save money by having strong help available.
Transportation Expenses: Determined primarily by mileage, insurance, but can also include tolls, maintenance, and other costs involved getting to the show. We do not charge for any destination fess within St. Mary's or Calvert County and most of Charles County, outside of this area we charge $0.485 per mile.
